Loss may be experienced in different ways: Loss of a job, of good health, of a relationship, of an opportunity etc.

 

The way one copes with loss can determine their way of coping with life in general and the different challenges it brings to us daily.

Existential psychotherapy offers the opportunity to look at the loss you are experiencing and can help you grieve in a(ny) meaningful way (it doesn’t have to be tears). Existential psychotherapy, due to its philosophical roots, is informed by the belief that most things going on in life are relative and their meaning ultimately rests with the individual rather than a particular situation.
